Houston Lady Cougar Basketball
Team Camp

June 22-24, 2012

  • All games played at Hofhienz Pavilion and UH Alumni Center
  • Guaranteed at least 5 games per team
  • You will play 2 games a day on the first two days of camp and at least one game on the final day
  • Games will be played in sessions with a morning session, afternoon session and night session. That way you will not be hanging around all day to play your next game.
  • Single elimination tournament on the final day
  • Officials, scorekeepers & clock keepers for all games
  • A chance to build team chemistry and camaraderie among teammates
  • If you are going to need over night accommodation we will work with you and some of the local hotels to get you the best rate possible.
  • Campers and Coaches will receive a Houston Cougars Women’s Basketball T-shirt

Check-In

  • Check-in will be 7:00pm on June 21, 2012 at a Coaches meet and greet.
  • Coaches will receive a schedule and information packet at check-in

Divisions

  • Participants at the Houston Women’s Basketball Team Camp include campers between ages 12-18. Teams can be composed of but are not limited to junior high, junior varsity, varsity and AAU teams. The teams will be divided up into 2 different divisions according to level. The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

Teams & Coaches

  • Teams will need a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 14 players. According to the Texas UIL rules, coaches cannot coach their own teams. Therefore, coaches are responsible for finding coaches/supervisors to lead their individual teams. Coaches may only coach one team. Coaches are responsible for supervision of their teams at all times.

Cost

  • $50 per player
  • All Checks are to be made out to: University of Houston Women’s Basketball
  • Please send all paperwork in together
  • A non-refundable $25.00 deposit per player is required with paperwork
  • No refunds will be given 1 week prior to the beginning of camp

Forms

  • Forms that need to be filled out entirely will be mailed to you when you decide this is the team camp for you and returned along with payment
  • A COPY of a school physical (not dated earlier than June 16, 2011) or physician’s signature for all players before any player can participate in camp.
  • Coaches should complete the application and return it as soon as possible with a $25 deposit for each player. The deposit is part of the camp fee. Final payment and paperwork must be received 1 week prior to the beginning of camp.
  • ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE RECEIVED FOR EACH PLAYER BEFORE THEY CAN PARTICIPATE IN CAMP.
  • Deadline to register for camp is June 15th
